Spring Updates 2023

Hello Neighbors,

Spring is upon us. Last week we had temperatures in the 70’s! Today it’s back to the 40’s – a pretty familiar weather roller coaster in Garrett County.

The grove is now patterned with little clusters of blue and white wild flowers. They are difficult to avoid because they are everywhere but they are so pretty and welcoming.

As previously mentioned, the docks are in, and this week Appalachian completed the mulching for us at a considerable savings. They did a really good job.

Additionally, Robin and Harriet Douglas completed sanding, cleaning and painting all the grove picnic tables! They used a better grade of stain this year so hopefully the paint will endure a bit longer. A huge “thank you” goes out to the Douglas’s for all their hard, voluntary work!

Click here to see the Appalachian crew as they took a moment to pose for the camera before getting back to work spreading the mulch, and Robin as he sands the tables.

Hope to see everyone wondering around the neighborhood soon!
